Skill Shares

Skill Shares program connects community members with valuable opportunities to both learn and teach practical skills. Through interactive workshops, neighbors exchange knowledge in areas ranging from home winterization to financial literacy, digital skills, arts & crafts, and cultural traditions. This grassroots initiative strengthens community bonds while empowering residents with new capabilities and confidence to address everyday challenges.

For more information on our Skill Shares, please contact Mikayla Coleman at mcoleman@metrowestcle.org.

Stockyard Bike-a-Thon

The Stockyard Bike-a-Thon 🚴‍♀️ is a community-driven event dedicated to promoting health, safety, and outdoor activity 🌳 for local youth. Organized to provide students in grades K-8 with bicycles 🚲, helmets, and essential bike safety education 📚, this initiative also offers free bike repairs 🔧 and fosters a sense of community engagement. Through sponsorships, we aim to remove financial barriers, ensure accessibility, and create a fun, enriching experience for families in the Stockyard neighborhood.
