On Thursday, June 27, Front Steps Housing and Services broke ground on the site of their future facility (2554 West 25th Street) expected to be complete in late 2020. The apartment building, named St. Joseph’s Common, will include 68 units of permanent supportive housing for the chronically homeless. Currently located further north on West 25th in Ohio City, the move will allow Front Steps to continue meeting the needs of those they serve while also expanding programs offered.
