Nick De Leon Named Executive Director of MWCDO
Metro West Community Development Organization (MWCDO) is pleased to announce Nick De Leon as the organization’s new Executive Director, effective September 1, 2026.
With a long-standing connection to MWCDO and the communities we serve, Nick brings years of experience, leadership, and a strong commitment to neighborhood development to his new role. Since joining MWCDO in 2021, he has held a variety of leadership positions within the organization, giving him a unique understanding of our work, our partnerships, and the residents and neighborhoods at the heart of our mission.
Throughout his time at MWCDO, Nick has worked alongside residents, community partners, staff, and local leaders to advance initiatives that support stronger neighborhoods and create opportunities for growth. His experience across multiple areas of the organization will help guide MWCDO as we continue to build on our work and look toward the future.

Looking Ahead
As Executive Director, Nick will lead MWCDO’s efforts to advance its mission of revitalizing neighborhoods, strengthening communities, and creating opportunities throughout Clark-Fulton, Stockyards, and Brooklyn Centre.
Under his leadership, MWCDO will continue working collaboratively with residents, community organizations, businesses, funders, and local partners to support housing, economic opportunity, resident leadership, and neighborhood investment.
